If you're a cop and you have a choice of 1. engaging in physical combat whereby you may get injured, or 2. tasering the guy and taking him into custody without anyone getting injured, you can't tell me you're going to willingly get into combat with this guy. If he had simply done as he was asked to do by the officer he wouldn't have gotten tased. The Ofc. did nothing wrong. Asshole doesn't want to get tased he shouldn't have tried to escape.

    +1 I completely agree with you, that gave him is fair share of warnings and that drunk continued on, lenient cop if you ask me. As for people like SW4003, Well they live in backwoods Louisiana, what more do you want the cop to do? Talk to the guy? He did that, didn't work. The only differences between the drunks that drive and kill people and Steve, are the vehicle.
