i read that you can make hydrogen from algae, so i thought i would have a go, round about 1:10 shows a flame go into the bottle, very small, however i had just lite it before and burned all the gas off, hence the shaking of the bottle, thought i might get a little bit more. sometimes i get hydrogen other times i seem to get oxygen, No need to shoot me down on this as i know its a crap video, but maybe interesting to people who are interested in algae & hydrogen.

    its what ever was growing in my swiming pool, grow like wildflower in there if no chemicals in it or they get low. its been a bit cold here at nite in oz and the algae has been a bit dormant, since leaving it unattended there is about 1cm of oil at the top of the bottle.

    round about 1:08 very fast small flash, i had just burnt the gas off about 2 minutes before, but was not expecting anything other than oxyogen as was in my other bottle so was suprised when there was gas in this bottle. will try and get a better shot tomorrow.
