How to speed up your computer.
For windows xp users, some stuff is different. I'm just testing the upload on youtube. You can call it a test video.
Hardware:
Cpu clock: 1.5ghz+
Memory: 1gb+ with 100mhz+ frequency.
1. Go to Start, right-click Computer and select Properties. Go to Advanced System Settings. In the Performance box, click Settings. Then select Adjust for best performance. Click OK when you're done.
If you want to keep your windows theme, check the last 2 boxes.
2. Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize. Click Displays setting and set to the lowest resolution and bit. Also, go to Advanced Settings and click Monitor. Increase the hertz for your screen refresh rate.
3. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup. Check all the boxes and click OK.
4. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter, and Defragment Now.
5. Go to Start, type msconfig and enter. Go to the Startup tab and uncheck unneeded startup.
6. Run a virus scan on your computer. Viruses eat up a lot of memory and could cause your computer to crash. I use Norton. Yeah I know Norton slows down your computer to hell, but I have a pretty fast notebook.
7. Run a spyware scan on your computer. Spyware eat up a lot of memory and steal your personal stuff. I use Norton.
8. Run a registry repair program.
9. Go to Start, Control Panel, and click uninstall a program. Remove unneeded program.
10. Go to Start, right-click Computer and select Manage. Double click Services and Applications, Services, and disable unneeded services.
Random: If you're running windows vista, post your lowest windows experience index subscore. I wanna know it. This notebook lowest windows experience index subscore is 3.8 and my computer is 5.9... lol
