I believe the answer to that is just one time. It's a common misconception though. Of the four times Toronto beat Ottawa in the playoffs, the Leafs had home ice advantage in three of those series. So Ottawa's regular seasons weren't as great as people say. It was the Leafs who underachieved in the playoffs all those years.

Ummmm... I'm no Leaf fan, but when the Leafs are in town there ARE almost as many Leafs jerseys in the crowd as Habs jerseys. Just like when the Habs are in Toronto, the Habs jerseys are everywhere too. That just makes for an awesome sports rivalry; enjoy it!

I remember Desjardins' goal like it was yesterday. I was at my small apartment with my friends at Benny Crescent in NDG. Looks like we are going to have a good rin this year. No supertalent but a good tem chemistry just like 15 years ago.
