"The Lighthouse" By Buddy Mullins/Vestal Goodman/Ivan Parker

This is my all time favorite song out of any genre of music. But I always go back to this good ole southern gospel music. Being 43 alot of my peers listen to that contempary alternative music. If it reaches the youth it's worth it but my grandparents & parents brought me up on this great music. It lifts my spirits like none other. The Lighthouse does it for me!

What a wonderful song.

My late husband which was a minister loved this song and so do I . It blesses my heart everytime I hear it and brings tears to my eyes. My husband now can see that bright light that shines. Thank God he showed him that light one day and it put him where he needed to be. Thank God for the Lighthouse.

I love this song.I learned it on my honeymoon in Malta many years ago during an Italian dinner with a big long table and the grapes hanging through the window.Great memory's with this song....

For many years I've loved lighthouses. They so resemble Christ keeping me from crashing on the rocks. There are so many times that He's saved me from myself, and I will always treasure this song. What a gift Vestal was to us also. It is so awesome each time I hear her. Thank you so very much for sharing this. It's truly a blessing.

We truly lost a gem & an annointed blessing when we lost Kenny. He's my all time favorite singer. I miss him. But he's rejoicing and singing for Jesus in heaven.
