    You're right, they are not goddesses in the traditional sense, but they are idolized as if they are. My intent is to show what happens when celebrities are worshipped as goodesses and then fall victim to the pressure of this identity. Western culture(US, UK, Canada, Europe) has its origins in the Greek and Roman world and thus the Greek and Roman connection with Aphrodite, Venus, etc.
