As for the nickel and chrome it would be better for to send it to a shop we can help you find one. They would have to get a rack made to plate it. Where are you at? It will help me find a shop.

I have an 80 gig Ipod Classic, I know how to take the whole back cover off. It is possible to plate the whole back cover using this method? And also, would it be possible to plate it with another kind metal, like nickel or chrome?

Yeah, the time you need it to work out right for camera is going to be the time it dosent. Sods law. I think after a polish it would of looked nice, even if it was switched.

You two have eagle eyes. I can get you a sample of the copper plating solution if you want. Theodore Gray of Popular Science magazine came up with the idea. Go to the website popsci and look up his article and see his pod he plated. Doing this live was very challenging thank for your comments!

I could swear sid just switched the cover right at the end. I guess it didnt turn out quite so well. Oh well.
