I think that this song in general, is the perfect damesel-in-distress-turned-strong-female-lead/action-hero song. It just makes it seem as if the girl is gaining strengh from the male, and she is practically invinsible. It maintains a strong female presence and shows the woman's ability, but it also maintains that certain romantic feeling everyone seems to love so much.

She really just used him, playing on whatever feelings she thought she had and he thought he had. But I also have to agree with Razorglenn, in saying that the ending wasn't as good as it could have been.
