*forgive the laugh track and the applause. This was shown to a studio audience*. Titmouse did some animated shorts that satire popular cartoons and video games from the 80's for Frank TV on TBS. They gave me the Transformers short to direct. I did the Storyboards, Designs, Layouts and Animated some of the scenes. The scene I'm most proud of is the classic scene where Optimus drive up to the camera, and as he transforms the camera fallows him up. Actually, I did all of the transforming scenes ...

    Frank Caliendo sounds like he can't voice act for crap. It sounds (SOUNDS) like someone's first voice acting role for a flash cartoon, where they have to whisper into a computer microphone so they don't wake up their roommates/parents. Like Voiceroy said, your part of it was superb. I loved the iPod dial on this version of Soundwave, especially. Visually great... audibly, not so much.

    To dadward: In spite of your petty critics here, I think you did a really great job on your part in this production.

    I love the character designs -- like a mishmash of the original G1 show, knockoff TF toys, and even the old Go-Bots TV series.

    The voices are a little disappointing, but that's certainly not your fault. Frank's attempt at Optimus is horrible -- it sounds more like his Al Pacino impression. Although I did find the gayish Al Gore voice for Prius Maximus amusing.

    I saw this on Frank TV a few minutes ago and am glad to find it online to share with friends. I thought the Prius was supposed to be Al Gore, but it sounds like a homosexual version of him. I don't have a hybrid, and I definitely don't think saving money or energy or the environment are "gay", but the fact that they stole his gas, and that he reacted as if he was being anally raped, was funny!
