ey hammer, guess what? i got the yammy model one step up: i got the DGX-520. it's an 88-key model which pretty much packs the same features as the highest end (DGX-620), 'cept the -620's got weighted keys. it's friggin awesome and i've been losing sleep over it. anyhoo, thanks for your thoughts.
my next project is a set of electronic drums. but they cost waaaaaaay friggin much.

hmm... i asked, and the local SM Appliance Center carries the SP-3 pedal. not sure though if it's compatible with the 3300. but i'm sure they work with the Privia PX series.

nice. its up to you man. haven't checked out the yamaha yet because most modern yamahas are way off my budget. I had a yamaha before this keyboard btw. PSR 6X (not 600 but 2 digits) I had loads of fun with it for years. Ah, which brings me back to the issue I have with my keyboard which I forgot. I can't seem to find Casio sustain pedals anywhere but I see a lot of Yamaha ones (get it from Perfect Pitch)

btw, i checked out a local Yamaha outlet (ParkSquare), and they tell me they're having a slash on prices come Feb. 8.

i am now torn between the WK-3300 and the Yamaha DGX220. it's another 76-key unit with just about the same price range. have u checked that out? thanks again.

the WK-3300 is great. I don't have any problems with it when it comes to sound quality. What I like about is that Casio has loads of sounds you can download to add to the WK-3300's factory imaged library.

sounds amazing. how's the WK-3300 working out for you? i'm currently in the market for one. it's either that or the Privia series PX-410R, but i'm afraid it's a tad off my budget.
