    It was a BBC news piece a while back that analized the man made techniques. The stalks were bent by external force, whereas in some of the more elaborate circles, the 'expert' said that it was like a high pressure blast of steam went up through the middle. There was no possible explanation how this could have happened, even with a team using advanced mechanical methods.

    There no doubt that these circles are amazing. But, people can do amazing things. Since they are so mathematical, that makes them easier to produce by a team of "artists" with more advanced techniques. Farmers often charge people to see them. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a deal between farmers & tour operator.
