    Judo and JUJitsu, I've done both.. very good for a one on one street encounter..not so good for multiple attackers..add some mui thai and you got yourself a well rounded system. But it depends on your personality and body type.

    Your'e not wrong mate. Personal choice is Thai Boxing and Judo. It's really hard to get the time to practice these systems, so my personal choice is the greatest stand up system in the World - Muay Thai, along with (in my opinion) the best grappling system for self defence - Judo. Everyone has their preferences, these are mine.

    I don't do judo, but am interested in martial arts as a whole but don't know which to do.
    If anyone has recommendations please tell me, I mostly want it for better self defence, but also competitions too.
