even have visited this astrologer in ban galore. has some one likely said its a permutation and combination of words. for will try to illustrate the same. in first leaf he will say that you are born has Hindu. if your answer is yes then he will proceed other wise he will flip the leaf to another one. by this we can understand that his next answer would be Muslim.then again he will start saying you have born as Muslim which is correct. secondly he says you have married if yes he will continue about children otherwise in other leaf he says you have not married. then coming to name he will tell the you name contains 2/ 3 word then 1st word starts with abcdef and last word is zefdee if this one possiblity in this if you name starts with a and ends with b then your first name is ab.............. its how these people will play with our belief and weakness. 2nd its all the predictions which wont be true also and secondly if you go any nadi astrologer 3 things you can find out 1 they will be very talkative, 2nd they will be always telling that in your past birth you have done some sin. 3rd he will say you can get right of the same by spending some money. if this is not convinced please ignore it. please excuse me for bad grammar.

Even i am wondering the same. I have heard that you get different thoughts at differnet times so its possible that this question may not arise in the mind..or the saints knew the time that the son is going to ask the question when the father is alive.. but then what is exactly written on the leaf about father??

What is the basis of your claim on "destiny"? Is it not far more likely that Nadi astrology is a fraud?

This person will not come after his parents death. He was destined to know his nadi and the text written on the nadi was for when he would come. The Maharishis who wrote this knew when the person would come to seek the nadi and wrote it according to the it. It is a hypothetical question if he 'would' come later. He could but he wont. That is destiny.

@asnair, if something does nt match, he turns to a different Palm leaf.. the idea is that all permutations/combinations are in the set of leaves....the palms are in the volume of hundreds of 1000s.. he has narrowed down to so much in the table...BUT THIS WAS NOT TRUE FOR ME.. I PERSONALLY TRIED THIS.BUT EVENTS DID NOT OCCUR IN THAT WAY....could be the experience of the interpreter also....

No, I CANNOT explain how nadi astrolgers (or PC Sorcar Jr) do their tricks! So what?

The basis of my objection to the Nadi astrology is that this "predicts" only mundane information of PAST events (as on the date of reading out the palm leaves) that COULD have been obtained by fraud.

can you explain me how did he got his parents name correct. how did nadi astrologer know some of the most personel things of canditate
