Consider buying a 4x4 that has the option of a locking differential, it worth the $1,000.00. Even the small jeeps nowadays have pretty capable drive systems for most moderate conditions.

i dont like leaf spring, they works not that sensitive to small bump...i wish the car i am going to own got four coil spring shox on each side, just like the H1,but now it seems impossible, cause most of em use leaf spring in the rear...
and if ya wanna change the shox,it will cost a great deal of dollars...
ugh i dont have interest in the Durango but i know that it's suspension in 4X4 is a leaf spring set up which limits articulation, compare it to the Grand cherokee. I know that rancho makes a 3" lift kit for the H3 and in that you can put any shocks with it. the H3 has IFS and leaf spring rear, the Wrangler has rear springs too. Do you own a H3?

Dodge Durango is also one of ma favourite car,but it is said that it will get on fire itself under the drivers seat...is that true?
...
and i am considering how to place those shox of hummer into fox ones?it must be fantasic!haha:D
i sold hummer at Thousand Oaks Hummer for like 6 months... And trust me, when your commission check doesnt exists... You'd feel the same

By jeepydave [Affiliate User] 1205115977 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBUT, how many people actually know how to use one of these things any way... From all that i could tell the H3 looks very similar even to the 4x4 Colorado... where in comparison, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has completely different suspension to the Dodge Durango.

By liuwenjie6678 [Affiliate User] 1205013022 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelol. now given the technical data from Hummer, the H2 is 60% as capable as the H1 and the H3 is about 75%... so the little one is actually quite capable... given that the driver is. No matter what 4X4 you have the more torque the better and locking diffs are essential, given you take it off road at all.

By 10futbol [Affiliate User] 1204611573 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis guy is talking out of his ass... V8 V8 V8 V8. I sold Hummer for a while and i have to say that GM has their heads up their butts. They waited untill all interest in the Hummer line had died before HAVING to do something to justify changing this product. They boast about the Alpha models like they are something amazing but shouldnt a 4x4 line be just that anyway? P.S, that wasn't off roading, that was a stroll through the park
