    During game mode he leads zack to a certain area when they are unexpectedly attacked by a couple of Genisis copies. Angeal stays to deal with the mess and tells Zack to go protect Dir. Lazard. When Zack goes back to the spot, Angeal is gone. Come to find out later he took off with Genisis and headed to their home town of Banora.
