  • I agree with ttexas ...

I agree with ttexas its gotta be a wierd editing job.He was just as good at beginning as he was in middle and end. They may have booed but it looks like it was edited to make it seem more dramatic than it really was.Another case of Reality TV. Man the scripting for these things is getting worse and worse :P I feel like a puppet, they are trying so hard to manipulate me and everyone else.

Sorry Atlanta, I thought this was held in Atlanta not Texas. In any event the people in the audience should be embarrassed and the city should issue an apology to him and his family.

Great performance! The crowd is full of idiots, booing him from the start. I knew he was good the moment he started singing. At least the crowd changed its mind! He should win big time!

So much was bad in a row, then an OPERA singer! You know most dont accept opera right off, till proved, thus the audience initial reactions, BUT they took too long to change their minds! At least they did FINALLY! First time i ever saw the complete turn around like that, Thankfully! He should win it all!! YEA!!!! LOVED HIS diction, control, pure voice!!

The audience at the beginning of his song were so terribly rude!! It took a lot of guts to keep singing but most of all..it took TALENT to turn the audience around..Nice song and he most assuredly he has talent!

  • I was amazed that ...

I was amazed that they booed him in the beginning. His voice was fantastic. This is one area where I give the judges a lot of credit. They did not listen to the crowd. It is amazing how the audience gave him such a loud ovation at the end of his performance. The guy was something.

  • I think that the ...

I think that the crowd booing was part of what it termed crowd mentality. If a few start something the rest follow, just to follow. Its was so sad to watch such a fantastic talent having to bear such awful rudeness. I pray that in the future the audience give the contestant a chance before they jump to conclusions. Donald you have it all, heart, passion, love for music and such bravery not only for overcoming such a tragedy but the courage to continue singing despite the rudeness of the crowd.
