I hope you enjoy my special series from 1shalom.com. Hebrew Prayers and Blessings. This video is on the blessing for the bread. You may ask why do this? I want you to see one that Jewish People love the L-rd. They incorporate this blessing in services where there is bread involved and they pray this blessing over bread during Sabbath and meals.

We too can incorporate this blessing as believers. We are blessing and praising the Only G-d of Israel for giving us bread. Bread is seen as the foundation for life in many meals it symbolizes life and G-d's sustenance as our provider.

So, I hope you can learn this Hebrew prayer and be thankful for bread. The Hebrew is transliterated into English characters and words so you can say it aloud.

I am using these on my TV Channel.

Shalom from Brother David

Awesome. I am glad that I could be of some help. I have always known that if we look at the Hebrew prayers, we will be able to see that Jews love G-d and thank Him often. This is just one blessing of many. Strangely, there is a thought by Christians years ago that Jews do not follow G-d! Wrong! They do and the TANAKH is proof as are the prayers. Many more of these learning Vidoes to come.

Nice vid. For some reason I wasn't subbed to you.

I've just been today thinking that I should start learning some Hebrew prayers. Eventually I'd like to get the Shema learned though I think that might be a long-term aim as it's quite long!
