12.07.1986, London (Wembley Stadium), England.

Probably the most famous Queen concert, they deliver an overall amazing show, playing their classic songs and they got a rowdy crowd on top of it all! The setlist was quite special (Queen played 'Gimme Some Lovin' or 'Big Spender' only scarcely) and there were even rumours about David Bowie's appearance for 'Under Pressure' but that unfortunately didn't happen.
Brian May said of the concert, "The Wembley concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had developed this phenomenal way of dealing with stadium audiences. Being back home in London playing two sell-out nights was such a big, big occasion for us. None of us realized that this would be almost the last time we played together." The band played only two more UK concert dates together.

  • I'm the front man, ...

I'm the front man, and I could never do what freddie does exactly like him, but people tell me i do a good job, and the rest of the band backing me up is a huge plus. Anyway that not the point I was getting at. Im trying to say that with as many kids there are that like this kind of music I can see a bright future for at least some of the "Old Style" music to become popular again. With as many kids becoming inspired by old music, you never know.

  • you know, with as ...

you know, with as many good teenagers out there, I mean the ones that don't do drugs or aren't freaking pschycopaths that go on killing sprees for no reason, but the good ones who obey rules and love music like this, I can see the rebirth of music like queen's and all the good bands from the 80's, Im in a band right now that sing songs similar to 80's rock, but with a bit of new school mixed in too. Im gonna get shot down for this one, but we cover queen songs as well.
