By xXclaymatorXx [Affiliate User] 1224753937 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis guy is technically fantastic. The speed, power and ease that he gets the opponent up and over demonstrates that. To the guy who says Koga uses the same flip throughout, you are pretty much right. This only makes it MORE impressive though as all those judoka he is fighting will be aware he specialises in Seoi Nage, but they are still unable to avoid being thrown by that technique.I practised Judo for years and I take my hat off to this man.Awesome!
By JackDaniels267 [Affiliate User] 1224710492 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveExactly. The mats in Judo and wrestling are there to protect the loser. Judo is scored with "Ippon" as the highest point - because if you scored an Ippon on, say, a sidewalk, your opponent would be dead or disabled.
Also, if you're even a decent Judo player (or wrestler) and you try a throw on someone who isn't a grappler, you will almost certainly score an Ippon. Untrained people always instinctively do exactly the wrong thing.
almost 10 years here, and I agree totally.
By herrorarra [Affiliate User] 1224672722 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethink of a judo being done on a hard ground.
An opponent is not injured in judo comepetition, because they're done on a "tatami".
"jus grabbing them onto his back and flippin em" on a hard ground means dead.
"ippon" means in judo is a death to the opponent.

it looks like hes jus grabbing them onto his back and flippin em. but its probably more to you experienced people
Spoken like someone who knows nothing about what he is talking about. this is simply poetry in motion. Koga has taken Judo and moved it to a new level. I have been studying martial arts for 25 years, and I am in awe...
