That's the conservative element in this country. In their view it's wrong to Question authority. You have to respect the president no matter how much of an idiot he is. But this cartoon is a satire.

Did you know this episode, during its original late-60s run, was BANNED in states like Colorado & Wyoming? Some citizens were actually OFFENDED by the idea of depicting John Wayne as a villain! Makes me love this cartoon all the more.

I just had Susper Chicken for lunch. Fried, giblets too. The meal was dangerous when I ate it.

I remember watching this cartoon as a kid(yes, I'm old).
It's even funnier when you understand the tongue-in-cheek that a small child misses.

The parachute scene is priceless!
