You would deny it a "dogfight" even if they had a gun only battle, and remember what we were discussing, the use of cobra in combat, not what is a dogfight and what is not, or were there 1v1 air combat in Iraq or not, think of how different some of those "dogfights" or whatever YOU want to call them could have turned out if the Pilots had the cobra capability, Cobra may not have been used in combat , but it can be used!

Yes, I have seen the episode of that show. Despite the show's name, that engagement wasn't actually a "dogfight". It was a BVR engagement. The F-15's used AIM-7 Sparrow missiles to take out the MiG-29's.

There is one video I find on Youtube "Dogfights - Dogfights of Desert Storm", it has 5 parts I have not seen it all but it has proof of dogfights in the Gulf war, you should know about this, you are American, this was your war, I have no other internet sources for the dogfights I heard of, but they were television documentaries and news, so maybe they are on Youtube, look yourself, I have seen several dogfight videos on youtube.

Please give me a link from a respectable source stating that there were WVR engagements in the Gulf War. As far as I know, all the engagements were BVR, and all of them were backed up by multiple aircraft.
