  • I am glad you ...

I am glad you enjoyed it. We were just there again and Susan had the fun of doing laundry with 8 macaws loose and helping this time. It was a very similar experience again. I also had the same issue as I tried to build another carport aviary for them. They just wanted my pliers and cutters etc. to the point I had a tough time getting anything done. Loads of fun. Chris

  • This style of ...

This style of keeping pet parrots has rewards most people will never imagine. There is something really endearing about how the birds so enjoy flying down to us for attention and/or a peanut. There are added risks though too. But you are correct, no hats are safe in the area, buttons either. Chris

They sure could and if you listen Susan complains about that potential. These are all towels being used in the brooder of a baby bird shamrock macaw - who will be introduced in an up coming video that shows Buckle from 7 days old to flying outdoors.

  • You're from ...

You're from Australia, eh? I envy those parrot fans there. Abundant of wild parrots of many different species can be found there. The Galah costs $2500 each here from where I'm at. Damn! We have feral Rainbow Lorikeets, Goffin's Cockatoos, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and lots and lots of Moustached Parakeets here in Singapore.

If/ when I get a macaw, I couldn't keep it without training it to be a free-flighted bird! I have a lorikeet but I couldn't free fly her, cause we have wild lorikeets here that she'd take off with!

  • Thanks. We love ...

Thanks. We love making these little videos. We hope that they show people what is possible with pet parrots if they are raised and trained properly. Flying adds a dimension to keeping pet parrots that is really wonderful but difficult to describe with words. This is one of those things you need to experience to really understand. We hope these videos will convey some of this. Chris
