    Well, the thing is, your product key is not in the CD itself. There's only an algorthm that it uses to know if the product key is valid at all. You might want to try using a keygen, checking your computer for a sticker on the tower, or asking a friend if you can have their product key (or just steal it while they're not watching). Just make sure that it's the exact same version of Windows (a Home Edtion key won't work with Professional, or vice-versa).
