wow, that's such a misconception! my mom is bangladeshi who was born and brought up in B'desh.We didn't come from a high 'class' family, just ordinary folks of the village. She's pretty. I love how evolved she is. I'm proud of her and for what she stands. Go head girl!!! It's not that there aren't other Bangali girls like her (you know; that attends ivy league college, gets scholarships, pretty, wants to make a difference.). It's just that you're not aware of them. I can a few including myself.

Nora, ignore all the hobby mullas showing off how good muslims they are without ever doing anything to benefit poor people. It is young gifted people like you who will help to improve conditions in your country and propmote goodwill and understanding. That WILL help to save lives of poor people in Bangladesh.
