I took my old remote control car and added a solar panel to charge the internal battery. Now it can run in the sun all the time, and in the shade.

How'd you do that?!
It was interesting to see the RC car converted to use solar power, but I was curious as to how to did it. I wish you had provided that information in addition to the materials you used.
