Die Stem Van Suid-Afrika

I just happened to find this session looking for the actual lyrics to my old anthem of sout africa.
The one thing I can say thank you for, is to the person who posted this as a tribute to our old national anthem, you know the funny thing is I know first hand without bias thoughts what happened in South-Africa and when I hear this song, it reminds me of a strong South Africa, a South Africa where men were still men and crime was never tolerated, even chaos was a vague little nightmare kept on the borders when we were fighting the ters, it was the making of hard but good times, where blacks had jobs and security and whites were growing the economy to such a point that a dollar only cost about fifty cents.
I grew up with zulus and other black cultures around me seeing as I am afrikaans and from the old schools of culture and strength it does sadden me to see how far a once proud country has fallen, but we can only blame ourselves...
Even as we were educating black people trying to bring them up in this new alien wrold to them it did not come without conflict and strife, all cultures of the world hate change in their own ways and us as westerners and europeans held ourselves too high up to see that every race on this planet has a purpose and that is what we must respect, intermixing is where all the problems lay...

However we can co exist now that the wars are over on the battlefield, but only if respect is given where due, not idiotic protesting and over tolerance, all must remember that it was the white race that brought about technology for advancement and growth, but what use is it when my own people act as bullies and inbred swine when all our way has done for other races is cause poverty suffering and crime?

People need to realise that yes even in genetics each race differs from one another and that if we acknowledge those differences and respect them, but not adapt it to our own ways then those differences will no longer cause friction, purely due to the fact that we no longer live in ignorance.

War is war, accept it and live with the facts, don't change history because you are bitter at loss to your enemies, they too shape the world.

Even our spartan bretheren and forefathers established themselves and were the greatest fighting force in the world and if any other race had to see how any of our cultures have slaughtered their own in war for greed then the whites don't seem so racist ;)

If you as a person strives to live well and maintain your roots, you need not worry what the world thinks of you.

I think this anthem still has a place, as lng as it does not have racism backing it. I love it. I'm Afrikaans. I love this. But, if you think it stands for racism and white supremecy, then I will not be associated with it. Racism is truly the sign of an ignorant mind.

Now, let's not be hasty. That may be considered racial bias. They are people just like everyone else. Both sides have made their share of poor choices. AKA Apartheid, and the African National Congress. You should not say that blacks are an infestation in Europe.

Yes well, this flag represents stability, and the true roots of the country that is South Africa. Natives inhabited he land, but the Europeans built the nation. Also, part of this anthem, is still used in the current National Anthem of South Africa. No one here wants to read your silly jibberish. This is a beautiful song, you have no right to defame it. As for your accusing me of being a "racist", you must have no idea of what racism is.

Not that I am a supporter of apartheid, but I think the old flag and anthem are much more beautiful than the present ones. But that's life.

What does "Ons Vir Jou Suid Afrika" mean?

Wat bedoel je met "rente gevonden" Bedoel je dat je de Afrikaner cultuur mooi vindt? Daar heb je gelijk in, want het heeft een mooie Hollandse en trotse glorieuze geschiedenis. Ik schreef net met hayndnz (of zoiets) Hij schreef dat hij de achter-kleinzoon was van Christian de Wet, die zijn hele leven tegen de Engelsen gevochten had. Maar die hayndnz begreep niets van mijn Nederlandse taal en raadde maar wat.En omdat hij niets van mijn taal begreep begon hij te schelden en rare taal te gebruiken.

Ik mezelf is geen Zuid-Afrikaans en is niet van Nederlandse afkomst. Ik ben eigenlijk van Engels en Duitse afstamming, maar ik heb onlangs rente in Afrikaner cultuur gevonden.
