New Hair-Cut Tony Jaa in a Ceremony, Ong Bak 3 Dec 5th 09 Confirmed

Surin (Thailand) - Appearing with brand new haircut, Tony Jaa pays veneration to divinities and spirts of elephant ancestors in front of The Statue of Phraya Surin Phakdi Sri Narong Changwang, Surin Province. This oblation ceremony in ancient Surinian style is held to mark an auspicious time to begin the filming of Ong Bak 3 in full gear. There is a demonstration of sword fight and Muay Boran from stuntmen. Tony Jaa gives a sword performance in his new style Nattayuth (dancing fight mixing with Khon Dance).

Tony Jaa: The ceremony is held here in Surin my homeland and birthplace, so there is some significance to me as a Surinian guy to begin this project in Surin with my family members and neighbor. Moreover, Id love to publicize Thai art and culture as seen in Surin that is well known of elephant.

Tony confirms that December 5th 2009 is the premiere date for Ong Bak 3 in Thailand. He reveals more about his new hair style that it feels so much clearer.
