Your guess is a dumbass guess. Just because its turbo'd doesn't mean it revs high stupid. Its a V8 with High compression so naturally its going to rev lower than a 4 banger turbo at 8-9k. Where do they get these doofuses?

driving the speed limit is driving the speed limit. It doesnt matter how much horsepower you have its not dangerous. Having a lead foot is dangerous.
and whats the point of all those gauges? when you drag race, your gonna give it hell and if the motor is gonna blow its gonna blow wether you look at the gauge or not. when you're drag racing and look at a gauge and stop to think "I better let off" its usually too late.

Of course, it could be a mid year shift... because the later '63 pests looked like the lemans, however, according to Nelson and Leichtfuss this is just a lemans. My '63 pest had more oval grilles, the trans was in the rear (with independant rear suspension) and it had round taillights... Who really cares anyway? The point is moot. The car is still awesome.

This isn't the Tempest. Just a LeMans. I had a '63 Tempest: WAY different bodystyle. Tom Nelson Engines will even tell you the same thing. So will Butch Leichtfuss the owner of the car... In '63 the Lemans was the same size as the Impala, The tempest was smaller like a Skylark and looked different.

alright lets think about this people a 4 cylinder is gonna rev higher it doesnt have those four extra pistons and if you turbo something you dont want that high of compression pistons your going to want about 9.5:1 compression if you want to make it last so when the turbo spools you dont have to much compression and crack the block

you dont deal much with exotics do you? None of the high end cars have a warrenty. They sell them AS IS, much like the cars of the 50s and 60s, with the around the block warrenty, make it around the block and your warrenty is gone.
