  • The 3D application ...

The 3D application "Blender" is pretty poopular & Free. It looks like some nice stuff has been done with it as well. There's also free 2D animation software called "pencil" that's free. As far as jobs that go under drawing...Illustration, 2D animation, storyboarding, Fine Arts, any kind of design field. Truthfully, any art related career, you will need to have a good solid foundation in traditional art & drawing. That goes for 3D animation as well.

  • Hey thanks for ...

Hey thanks for replying, wat i didnt understand was, if they already animated at a low res, how did they transfer the animation on to the high res? Coz i saw them 1st animate the character at a low res and then saw them adding fur lighting etc on the high res, they didnt show the switch in-between high and low, is there any tutorial on that?

    Thank you for ur help

  • A character can ...

A character can have two versions of the model attached to the skeleton. A low-Res version (which is very simple & blocky looking), and a high-Res version. The visibility of each version is either turned on or off. In the case of a character with fur, the fur itself can be turned off during animation, then turned on when needed. Its much faster to work with the low-rez on and the high-Rez off. Come render time, the low-rez will be turned off and hi-rez & fur turned on".
