Sukhothai , Thai Dance

well....aint all khmer ppl are alike some is ignorant and some aint...but im khmer i speak thai i do khmer and thai dances...and for a fact khmer and thai ppl take things from each other...

its true....y do cambodians come on youtube and watch thai dances such assholes they hav no life i bet and plus if they knew they stole stuff from us .. they stole gold from out buddhas to make their temples hah stupid pppl cant even afford real education

yeah i've been dancing both for a couple of years. i just danced chui chai prom on loykratong. but i do the shortened version. i never learned the full version of the chui chai prom. the shortened version is long enough for me ;P

What I recommend is that you should try Chui Chai Phram because it is nice, but it's a long dance and Manohra, I do like it and what i think is that it is easy to dance this because you just dance by the beat of the drum (if you get it) = P Both of them are really nice to watch = )

i've danced this before many times. as a lead and as one of the girls in the back. it so funny cuz im half white and we always make fun that ppl think that im just some white girl. lol it S**ks cuz i cant speak thai, but im really good at thai dancing. ive danced so many dances in the past 9 yrs of doing it. my teacher actually want me to dance manohra or chui chai prom (dont know if i spelled those right). ive been dancing those for awhile at some thing going on.

F**k this dance and the Thai so-call culture, I support the fact of khmer heritage. Just like the current moment the thai keep on invading our nation and try to annex our temples. If you know the history of Khmer people, maybe your nation wouldn't be that ignorant. You can try to destroy our culture, but Khmer people will never fate away that easy and I can reassure you Siem( Thai) invader. Khmer live on.

well, the Sukhothai ( Sri-Sachanarai) era was during the 13th century. How was the style, color was recorded? all the texts we have that was from that era was burnt by the Ayuthaya kingdom. Except anything that was carved out of stone. I think it was all based on assumption and an hypothesis of what "would" it have looked like. You may prove me wrong if Lord Kunram-Kampang painted a vivid picture of life during the that era, which I doubt survived 800 years.-peace
