Well that's exactly the video i thought you were referring to. There is nothing 'stopping' in space here. You can clearly see the earth rotating in the background, and they are just ice particles trailing behind the Shuttle, travelling at nearly 17500mph. The ionosphere is not a complete vacuum, and thus exhibits a small amount of drag. Because of this, the Shuttle fires thrusters every few minutes to maintain orbit, and this stuff slowly gets left behind. It's anything but extraordinary.

this is the video i'm was talking about. almost same strange behaviour, stopping in space, but this time building a formation, and lighten up randomly. not natural, if you ask me.

but i'm searching for the water-dumb experiment right now, because i'd like to show you how real water behaves in space. it looks at least totally different. i hope i will find it again...

And by the way, this is not a case of a singular 'someone' making a claim. It is something which only requires basic physics knowledge to predict, and is also well known to people far more educated and experienced than you or i. NASA's 'moon pigeons' study from 1970 provided some insight into debris behaviour, and surely even you would recognise that 38 years has brought about significant advances in understanding.

If you're talking about the so-called circle of ice crystals trailing behind the Shuttle, then no it has nothing to do with sublimation. It's just some pillock finding a piece of footage amongst hundreds of hours, showing a chance ROUGH formation. Like the constellations, purely natural. As to your research, my conclusion is that you didn't try hard enough (what a surprise). Back to the drawing board.

sameone made the claim, i researched it and came to the conlusion that this can't be applied to objects in space. there's simply nothing to reject from to perform sharp turns like this. seems not possible to me, simple and plain.

btw: have you seen the footage, which was taken somewhere above africa, where they build a clear formation? do you also relate this to sublimation?

Whether you believe something or not when you clearly haven't researched it is irrelevant. For god's sake open your mind to the possibility long enough to research it, instead of just denying without justification.

What? The tether was actually capable of propelling the satellite when a current was passed through it. That is one of the reasons why NASA performed this experiment - it allows spacecraft to maintain orbit without propellant replenishment. Even Sereda is smart enough to understand that, and actually explains the principle. In this footage the tether is inoperative. No current is flowing and it is nothing more than a 12 mile cable and satellite drifting through space.

as i said before: i don't believe there's a coherence between objects changing their state of matter and objects stopping and making 90° turns in space.

also the lenght of tether indicates that this type of energy/propulsion can't be too strong. if it was, they would just use a 1 meter tether, or better snowballs. but even a 12 miles long tether doesn't seem to show an effect like these magical ice particles.

What are you talking about? Do you deliberately misunderstand an argument and present it out of context? Forget the tether - it has a substantial enough mass for such forces to be insignificant. However this is not the case for tiny particles subjected to electrostatic forces and propulsion resulting from ice sublimation.

No, and why would anyone expect it to? Think of the relative mass of the tether to the objects in question. Remember F=ma, hence a=F/m. Consider this: an electrodynamic tether generates an emf as it passes through earth's magnetic field, but since every force has an equal and opposite reaction, the tether was actually slowing the Earth's rotation by a miniscule amount. Simple physics, but the mass of the Earth relative to that of the tether was so massive that the effect was insignificant.

see, where talking about an effect, which makes it possible to make direct turns in space. i haven't seen the tether doing DIRECT turns, as the objects do, or move in any kind of way. i'm not assuming this, i can see this to a certain degree. sure the tether moves and turn, but not in the same, direct way as the objects do.

How do you know? You don't, you're just assuming again, as you always do. Take off the blinkers and research outside your self imposed bubble of ignorance.

and i said "free" energy, because i believe, too, that there isn't something like real free energy. it was not in relation to the tether, but in relation to the ufo's and their propulsion system. i don't believe they use our ionosphere as propulsion.
