Former aviation pilot John Lear returned for a discussion about photographic evidence for cities and mining operations on the moon (view material he provided). He said that mining operations for such substances as helium-3 have been going on for years, and that antigravity ships, secretly launched from Antarctica, arrive at the moon in only one hour's time. He cited a poster known as "sleeper" (blog) at the abovetopsecret.com forum as one of the sources for his information.

Lear also argued that the moon was towed into its current orbit by a huge electromagnetic vehicle, and that vehicle can be seen in a photo taken of the moon crater Tsiolkovsky. He also believes that the moon contains a breathable atmosphere, as evidenced by photos showing smoke or vapor coming from the surface.

Joining the conversation during the third hour, Richard C. Hoagland concurred with Lear that there are artificial structures on the moon, yet he suggested they may be ancient rather than new. If there is mining that is taking place there, it could be for the "retro-engineering of ancient technology," said Hoagland, who added that he does not think the photographic evidence supports the notion that the moon has an atmosphere. During the last hour, Lear took questions from the listeners.

  • The moon, most ...

The moon, most likely does not have an atmosphere. And, if it has an atmosphere thiner then mars, we would still have had to "brake" using a heat shield. And also, photos taken in low orbit, show no haze or any sine of an atmosphere, as fare as I know.

  • On Mars Olympus ...

On Mars Olympus Mons rises 23 km (~75,000 ft) above the surrounding plains and is the highest known peak in the Solar System. The altitude of Olympus Mons is three times the altitude of the largest peak on Earth, Mt. Everest, and is as wide as the entire chain of Hawaiian Islands.

  • There also ...

There also unaltered NASA photos in Steckling's book 'Alien Bases on the Moon' that seem to show some type of dark green vegetation in several photos. It basically looks like a desert with patches of trees.

  • There are ...

There are definitely clouds and mist or fog in many moon photos that I have seen myself. That seems to indicate an atmosphere of some type. Water and volcanic activity was also discovered on the moon according to NASA.

  • I think the therory ...

I think the therory of moon formation froma large Mars sized object impact makes most sense. Moon is moving an inch and a half away from Earth. If it was artificial, why would it do that and not correct it's orbit? Lear thinks there is an atmosphere on the moon. Let's send him there without a space suit for a moon walk.

  • The Apollo 14s ...

The Apollo 14s S-IVB was also boosted into a Moon course and by remote control crashed into the lunar surface. A NASA science publication (Apollo 14: Science at Fra Mauro, p.17) said: The Moon reacted like a gong. For about 3 hours it vibrated and these vibrations traveled to a depth of 22-25 miles.

  • that could be true. ...

that could be true..but it's also widely 'known' that the moon is 'dead' right? ..yet volcanoes, clouds, lakes, vegetation, and a thin yet very real atmosphere has been recorded by scientist since the 60's and published in mainstream magazines and scientific journals yet we never hear about these things today. Michael Cremo calls this 'knowlege filtration'. So do we really "know" about these planets?

  • in this he says ...

in this he says that Jupiter is habitable ..but its widely known in the scientific community that Jupiter has a lot of gaseous jet streams that if someone were to land on jupiter (if its even possible) the gases would weigh you down so much it'd eventually kill you. Infact new studies indicate that because of its size, Jupiter may possibly be a dead star that has collapsed in on itself.
