Flood rushed inside SM Sta. Mesa Ground Floor because of typhoon Ondoy last Sept. 26, 2009, around 1:00 in the afternoon. This event have caused a lot of damage to SM. Establishments on the Ground Floor were Food stalls, SM Appliance, SM Savemore Supermarket, Ace Hardware, ATM Machine etc. Just imagine how many things were wasted because of the flood. The flood almost reached the Ground Floor's ceiling.
