Metro Kansas City's under a Tornado Watch. Thunderstorms have fired up rapidly from north-central JoCo-KS west & sw-ward. We're spotting near I-35 & 75th Street in Merriam-KS. These storms had rapidly become severe and were showing weak rotation. Only a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued- NO Tornado Warnings went up at all through the evening.
