Planispheres & Binoculars
This videos topic: Some advice for beginning your hobby in amateur astronomy and how to use a planisphere.
Always remember that the most important tools are your eyes. Go out under the stars and look up!
Well now I have an even bigger concern! If the diametar of your previous scope is the same as the diameter of the scope you just bought you are not going to see any difference between the two. A larger scope may bring out more detail in an object but because celestial objects like nebula and galaxies are dime and the human eye not so sensitive dont be supprised if you get the same result.

By truemartian [Affiliate User] 1207311615 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethankyou so much for your video. i have learned alot and i am going to watch more of your videos. amature astronomers need people like you to share information. books and internet alone isn't enough i find if i going to learn something its better if its being told to you than read from a book or internet. thankyou once again.
By imallright1 [Affiliate User] 1207307973 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeim trying to pick the right telescope to view nebulae i know were it is all located due to my celestron skyscout but i cant view it becouse its way to far away to see through my telescope what type of telescope is best for veiwing nebulae plz reply
By sevenlukechilders [Affiliate User] 1207280106 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSounds like a refractor. Use the 20mm eyepiece first. Make sure your finder scope is aligned with the main tube so that what you see in the cross hairs are what you see in the center field of view. (see my video on finderscope) Practice pointing it at the moon (check moon phase on a calendar) and bright stars. Most important: LEARN THE CONSTELLATIONS. If you dont, you wont know where to point the scope.

Little bit like yours, but 7x50 and 6.8 degrees field. Just gotta find Planisphere somewhere. Had one when I was kid, now I'm little bit bigger kid and I have lost it.
It's just very cloudy at this moment, 8/8. Gotta wait week or two to get change to look up.
Do you know anything of photographing the space? If you do, make a video!
Thanks a bunch!

Thanks ! Just great that you are posting these videos. I am sure a lot of beginners are very grateful (that includes me).
All the best,

Do you know the constellations? Do you have a telescope? If so I can help you much better if you describe it.
