My laptop has a convenient little hatch on the bottom labelled "memory" :D

that is the dumbest design i have ever seen. I have never seen anything like that.

my old laptop was the same way. you had to take everything on the top off just to get to the hard drive. the memory was on the bottom.

I like my laptop to upgrade memory you simply flip it upside down and take the panal off the bottom

It depends on your laptop. If it is the same model as this one, I do not believe there is an internal slot for a wireless card. What I use to connect to the internet/network with that laptop is a Wireless PCMCIA Network Card. It simply slide in a slot usually found on the side of almost all laptops. (very easy install)
