1 speaking from my experience with my parents its nothing that hasn't benefited me. 2 totally agree cause He knows what best so we should always look too Him. 3 couldn't say it better myself. 4 what is that Seriously thing ment for? I know if it hadn't been for my parents on may 9th 1982 i would have never gotten too know Christ and accepting him on that day. it was on that day i knew i was born again(John 3:3-7)& was going to heaven when i died. I would love too hear about ur day of salvation.

Would you apply that same logic to childrearing? Let me put the message of Mr. Bachelor into perspective:
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matt. 7)
Reverse that statement into the negative: If we being evil, know how to prohibit bad things from our kids, how much more shall our Father prohibit bad things?

My dear "BapticostalFreak", do good parents give their children that which benefits then, or harms them? If we, being evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more shall our Father in heaven give good things to those who ask? Now reverse that logic, and I don't think this is unreasonable to say: If we, being evil, know how to warn against bad things for our children, how much more shall our Father in heaven warn us to leave some things alone? Seriously!

that is how i got the full understanding of the verses. I don't listen too spiritual leader batchelor, benny hinn or joel osteenor a "woman preacher". I do listen too any preacher that offers an invitation for accepting Christ after they preach but i will checkout what they say and research it before i put up here anything i say.

They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving Rom. 4:3-4 Even Jesus said in Matt. 15:10-20 and Mark 7:14-23 that its not what one puts in there bodies that make them unclean but what comes out.

So true. Im doing my best to become one, had a few fallbacks, had some turkey, and some eggs. Ill get back on the course. Trough Christ, Ill claim Victory.
