The junior boys I coach at the Ridge Athletic Track, Sutherland Shire, Sydney. Vary in age from 9 to 12.

Some clips from a recent training session.
Again looks disorganized and I guess is disorganized.
Main thing is to keep boys interested outside competition times.
Note Thibaut jumps up to 20 cms better in competition. Don't want PB at training but Dylan jumped one.

    With the juniors, its one 400m jog followed by about 10 minutes stretching then six high knees, kick bum sprints on grass. Then three about 20m curve running, finishing in straight to duplicate run up.
    Then... we mark out the run -up.
    Matt, my 13 year old spends at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes warming up. He knows what to do, and does it.
