  • Buy in was 10 ...

Buy in was 10 million - and rebuy was 5 million if i remember correctly.

we know of at least 1 rebuy (bond himself), if there were another 2 it would fit with 115 million.

    9*10 + 3*5 = 115

  • Batman Begins is ...

Batman Begins is based on the comic books, not the Tim Burton/Shumacher movies. If they really wanted to make a totally fresh, new bond movie (like they did with batman begins) it would have been so easy to change ALL the actors, change the intro etc. OR they could have made it a sixties-retro-style straight prequel to the other movies. OR they could have made changes in the story so it took place after the other movies. But the way they did it is lika a little bit of each. And thats stupid.

  • If there were no ...

If there were no connections, there would be no Joker, etc. Just because it's a different actor it's okay?

Judi Dench is simply a nod to the past, nothing more.

The music isn't the same, as the 007 theme wasn't used, because in this film, he hadn't earned it yet. Of course the main theme will be the same in the future, it's a good theme and extremely catchy.

If they redid MI with a diff character, it'd be the same theme. As with a JAWS remake as well. Same with Hairspray, etc.
