This is one of my favorites, a klm md-11 doing a crosswind (extreme) at montreal's
Pierre Trudeau International Airport. Imagine the fun the pilots must have had keeping the aircraft on glideslope...truly skillful.

yep, and also if ...
yep, and also if you notice, just seconds before the touchdown, listen to the engines, the pilot is using varied amounts of thrust, which gives you an extended feel of how hard it must have been and the activity going on in the cockpit.

look at the puffs from the tires at 0:43 and 0:48.
