where in my comment am i knocking this tune? where am i saying it has to be underground? I merely stated that record compaines tried to buy into D&B and take it over and they failed.

D&B has stalled and has been watered down for the masses. Its not mainstream because the record companies failed. So we all have to like new D&B and me liking tunes from back in the day is not allowed? you are the pathetic one for trying to judge me based on one comment.

All i kno is i bought the Colours album back in 97 on the Positivita label sub division of yes EMI but do i give a F**k if its part of a big corporate label? no. Its in my mind one of the best DnB albums of all time and holds many many special memories for me. Well put Rekku, i think LulaJake is stuck in Fantasy land. Doesnt have to be Poor and strictly underground to be good. /endrant

Back in 1996 I used to think the way you do now. The difference is, I was 14 years old. It's F**king pathetic that a grown man still feels some misguided need to hold on to his houlier-than-thou "I liked it before it was popular" attitude. Sure, the big record companies gave D&B a go. Big deal. It didn't work out, and it's still not a mainstream genre. That seems to be what you're most concerned with. Maybe you never were in it for the music?

If you use your energy sifting through hundreds of crappy tracks to discover the few fresh gems instead of wasting it on raging against the machine on F**king Youtube of all places, you'll change your opinion very quickly. There were S**t tracks back then, and there are S**t tracks now. The fact that you're judging this track based on the video instead of its musical merits says a lot about you, though, so maybe I'm giving you too much credit assuming you'd ever see through your veil of elitism.

hmm, i notice this is a MTV type video. So this was part of the big sellout in D&B where all the artists went and signed major deals - every single one of them was a mistake. Big record companies are crooks and love to destroy independant stuff that they can't control. They did a good job looking at D&B today.
