Free Sound Recorder

I just recorded audio from a music video from youtube - I checked the two top boxes under "audio recording configuraion" it worked great. I hope this helps. Leslie

I have been trying to get this program to work for some time now but i am unable to. I am trying to record audio from Youtube and other sites WITHOUT useing my mic. What settings should i use? At one point I was able to do it. but when i moved my computer the setting got messed up. Please help.

can u speed up the sounds?

Nothing on the toolbar works exept for the radio. Whenever i click on one of the things it says "Another application is currently using libraries needed to record audio!
You may only run one Freecoder at a time. I have no other recorders.

Hi - Yes is should record from your desktop just fine unless you are trying to record a WM file that is DRM protected. Why don't you give it a try and let me know how it goes...

Well since this recorder is free why not check it out and see if it does what you need. If it doesn't you can always uninstall.

It's hard for me to decide on recording ones. I got Magix Music Maker but now it's not recording my voice, nor any sounds.

Thanks for the contribution & the response. I'm actually looking for one that has an equalizer since I wanna play an old song then make it sound better with an equalizer then record it in high quality. U get me? :P I know it's a lot to ask for a free software, but the ones that I downloaded aren't totally free & I donno if they are worth paying for them yet or if I can get a better deal later if I wait.

If you click on the "settings" button on the toolbar you will find the destination directory - I think the default is My Documents/My Recordings. But check it out for yourself :)

where did my files go after i was done recording because I couldn't find it

I have a built in mic on my laptop and it records my voice just fine that way - but yes you would need a mic if you didn't have that.

but how do you record the screen and put it togehter

i just downloaded it but its not on my toolbar

So, with this program I can record my voice but I still need a microphone for my computer?
