Jeep Rubicon Vs Toyota FJ Cruiser Off-Road in Hawaii

Rubicons have lockers both front and rear, not limited slip. With both front and rear diff's locked all 4 tires will spin the same speed with the tire on the ground or in the air. Rubicons also have 4to1 low range transfercase.

stock rubicons have limited slip that is why the tire in the air is still moving and with a locker it it sends all the power to the one wheel on the ground. so u know. but yes even with the limited slip it makes a big differants in off roading.

both are strong but they need lockers and then they will not need to beat on the suvs so much. poeple when some one says u need lockers they do not mean the ones at the gym ok.

that is how all true 4x4's should be and how my tj is and i get a lot of crap from other people saying man u shouid get sky jacker or some thing i say to them i all i need from me lol. plus i get to have the feeling of a job well done and i can say i did it my self for real!!!!! =D

ok i own a 97 tj and even i know that its not just a good jeep that can make it any where but i have seen fj's go some places that is hard for any suv / jeep but any jeep or fj and even a rubicon has its limits in stock form like the ones u c in this video and yes the rubicon comes stock with a limied slip and helps get over stuff but if u want to make then true 4x4's get lockers and at least a 2-4 inch lift to clear the under carrage so ur not high siding all over the place.
