I had heard about the mistake Kellie had made on the View while singing this song. This is the first I saw it. She was probably nervous, but also, who knows what emotions were going through her head when singing this very personal song. I think she did great. The song is a heart tugger. I am glad she was able to pull herself together and finish the song... just like a pro! I am a new fan and will continue to watch for her. Best wishes Kellie.

kellie, i really admire your talents , i love this song, i can feel the sadness of every little children who lost thier parents because of divorced, the children are the one who suffer most. I admire you kellie for singing such a personal song! bless you girl. keep on singing girl!

God Bless her, I know how she feels. My sister and I were taken away by our father because our mother wasn't taking good care of us. She didn't even show up for the custody hearing. I do see her now that I am an adult, but will never forgive her for the times that she wasn't there.
I hear that Kellie's mother wants to be back in her life now that she is successful. What a hard decison to make. Every girl needs her mother, but where was she when she was growing up and really needed her mommy.

This song is so sad, man! Kellie is really inspiring, she's amazing! I luv her, she rocks and having to sing such a sad song in front of millions people. She's MY idol!

I heard this on the radio one day in the car and had to pull over. I lost my mother when I was 24 so not quite the same story but the longing in her voice totally mirrors my own. Bless her.
