Tito Ortiz & Ken Shamrock begin a little dispute at a press confrence after UFC 48 when Shamrock won a fight against Kimo. It should also be noted that Shamrock had a rematch clause in his contract for the first fight because he knew he had a torn acl going into that fight. The rematch clause was to fight Ortiz again, but Ortiz kept turning down the fight which pissed Shamrock off.

Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock officially had their rematch July 8th at the Mandalay Bay Event Center. Tito won at 1:18 of the first round of a TKO(Strikes).

Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock once again had another rematch for the 3rd time and Tito won again showing who the better fighter was. After the fight Ken said he was retiring but not completely.
