  • No...actually we ...

No...actually we got the gist of what he wanted to say, and it's not a valid comparison. You cant compare groceries to health care. Don't try and clean up the bullshit, it's all over the place.

  • Unlimited wants vs ...

Unlimited wants vs limited resources is the most BASIC truth of human nature and tenet of economics. Maybe the groceries analogy is a little funny, but the principle is true. Stossel isn't the stupid F**k here.

  • I'm in Canada. Long ...

I'm in Canada. Long wait-times in emergency wards were something I've seen first-hand in the past. And that was for non-life-threatening health problems. I cannot imagine what it's like for those whose problems ARE life-threatening. I've heard that 800,000 Canadians die annually while waiting for government-provided health care. Heck, even the CBC had a documentary on health care, and how our government is trying to prevent people from getting private care even if they can afford it. No. Really.

  • Lol this is so ...

Lol this is so biased. Another example of propaganda media. This 20/20 vid is focused on not addressing the problems with our health care problems with the insured (not to mention the uninsured), but is focused on addressing the worst possible scenarios if we go with a socialized medicine scenario Canada, Cuba, or GB. Sicko was just addressing that our HMO/medicare could be a whole lot better than what it is currently.

  • Now John Stossel is ...

Now John Stossel is coparing health care to groceries. Of course people would buy whatever they want if they had "grocery insurance". How many people would go visit the Dr. if they truly arent sick? What a dumb ass. Trying to compare apples to tea...stupid F**k Stossel

  • Hey Karen Agnoni.. ...

Hey Karen Agnoni...3% of claims denied equals out to millions of people denied. Those who are already sick are denied as well. Why didn't John Stossel mention that. Socialized medicine treats everyone, everytime. No one is denied. Period.

  • The point is Cato ...

The point is Cato Institute shill John Stossel virtually lobbies for his billionaire corporate masters' point of view time after time, without providing full disclosure. Stossel is a neo-con propagandist posing as a reporter. Treating health insurance as just another free-market business has proven disastrous, with underling insurance company employees endeavoring to AVOID PAYING legitimate claims as often as possible, until after the patient is dead in some cases, to boost corporate profits.
