This video will show you how to password protect a folder without having to use any programs. I advise that you place the .bat file in a different place to where you hidden the folder because then if anyone is competant with a computer the can open the .bat file in notepad and find out your password and it makes it harder for the person to find the folder.

    if you listened to the video i explained that if anyone good with computers found that file they could find out the password. However if you place the .bat file in a different location it would take forever to find the file as you would have to test the .bat file in every folder to see if the folder you created was there

    or we have to create a bat to protect the bat that is protecting the folder? LOL

    dont get me wrong I think is great... but is really fail proof?

    just right click on a folder, press properties, then press hidden, press apply and it is done! but you need to remember where the folder is located so you can type it in, e.g. C:MYSTUFFhiddenfolder
