    H.K.F. on the drums
Speaking of Scat man, I remember the girl next door having a such a crush on Hong Kong Fooey, she was playing with my sister in her bedroom when an interview with Scat Man came on tv, suddenly she's running down the hall screaming "I luv you H K F!"...when she saw HKFs voice comming from Scat Man she actually...

The questions are going straight over his head. You can see his face go blank as the interviewer is talking. That is why he is smiling in the face of words like terrorism and genocide. Smiling compensates for acknowledgement.

  • Bush still thinks ...

Bush still thinks the world is a dangerous place...damn straight-it's dangerous because of him! I also like the unintended parallels Bush is drawing about his administration and that of the so-called "terrorists": "They call on hopeless and helpless people to fight for their country's ideology"...walked right into that one, W!

  • He talks about ...

He talks about himself in the third person "I think the President..." He sees himself as above human, an all-powerful monarch who must not be questioned. This ego maniac is a war criminal responsible for decisions that led to the deaths of 1,000,000 Iraqis and the displacement of 5,000,000.
Begin with impeachment you spineless politicians in Washington and then throw him and his cronies in prison. They are the worst of humanity -absolute scrum in their disregard for others.

  • It's not from ...

It's not from Sweetheart..., it's from a short called O'Voutie O'Rooney, made in 1946 by Astor Pictures. It's listed as "Chile And Beans O'Voutee," and I don't think you can get it on CD, but you can get O'Voutee O'Rooney on a good DVD called _The Small Black Groups_ that's about $7 at amazon (and you can get improvised instrumentals similar to this one on Slim's CDs of his '40s records).
