Too bad this is so horribly out of sync! "Baby Come Back," The London-based Equals' only U.S**t , peaked at #32 in the fall of 1968. Derv Gordon was the lead singer. Eddy Grant was one of the three guitarists, along with Lincoln Gordon and Patrick Lloyd (John Hall played drums). Eddy Grant returned in 1983 as a solo singer with the million-selling #2 hit "Electric Avenue." He had two smaller follow-up hits, "I Don't Wanna Dance" (#53, 1983) and "Romancing the Stone" (#28, 1984).
