I love, love, love this era, these women. So classic. Love the one-piece suits and boots, and their style, which is rather methodical; you get a wonderful long look at both women, and their skill. Just as an aside, I guess I consider myself a connoisseur of professional women wrestlers and their outfits, and I always loved the back strap in a one-piece tank style. It just says 'I'm a Lady Wrestler' to me.

Agree whole heartedly with you Angel. I think the 'Miss Piggy' reference is more aimed at Debbie's flowing blonde hair and, perhaps, her somewhat ample behind more than anything (not that I'm complaining, I love it). There's a match, somehwere on Youtube, of a much older Debbie in a circa 1997 match against a big Japanese woman named Zero (I think). Debbie wears a scrumptious gold unitard in that match, and still looks great, though certainly heavier than she is in this match.

Classic Debbie Combs (Black/floral/white costume) v Donna Day (Purple floral) These two met many times in the '80s, with Debbie invariably coming out the winner. Donna occasionally had to put up with "Miss Piggy" taunting from the crowd for reasons I've NEVER understood. I thought then - and now - she was very attractive indeed. Thanks for posting!!
